In 2010, a similar laser made headlines across the world, being billed by the media as a "Star Wars lightsaber." This observation drew the ire of Lucas Entertainment, who promptly served a cease and desist letter to the manufacturer. Whether or not that design infringed on their trademarks, Lucas Entertainment was correct in stating that this level of laser power is extremely dangerous. Capable of permanently blinding people with one flash, this laser MUST be used responsibly and by adults only. When not in use, it should be kept locked away at all times. We assume no liability in it's use or misuse. Please remember to wear your included safety goggles.

Pop balloons, burn paper and cardboard, melt plastic bags... even light maches! Powered by 2 x CR-123A camera batteries (rechargeable batteries and charger included), this compact laser is machined from billeted aluminum and feels very solid in the hand. The rear facing power button toggles power on and off. This is a true 450nm blue laser, it does NOT use a lower quality, blueray/violet laser diode. The color of this laser is truly breathtaking. The factory has recently changed the output rating on the sticker from 1000mW to 1500mW. In our opinion the laser pointer is pretty much identical in brightness as before, so we have decided to continue marketing the laser as a 1000mW laser until such time that we are convinced of the additional power rating. However, be advised that the laser now reads 1500mW of output power and it is VERY bright.

This price is truly the best around. Compare at well over $200 USD. The build quality of this laser is top-notch. You will NOT be disappointed. USE THIS LASER POINTER RESPONSIBLY!
